"I never can say goodbye"

Sarah says it's over, but I'm in denial.  Bought these this morning, slimy leaves and all.  Spent thirty minutes cleaning them up.  Was it worth it? o. yeah.

AND, slipped a few carnations into an arrangement.  Think it works o.k.

Tomorrow Gillian and I are going to Maine to shop for some antiques and maybe to Snug Harbor, if they have the special Primrose we're looking for!  Pics tomorrow.

I want to go too!

Damn, you almost make me want my shop back....almost.

We just got beautiful ranunculus in from California.

Apparently they haven't gotten the memo:)

Have fun tomorrow.

Holy cow! I just got back from Snug Harbor 1/2 hour ago. A few streets down once you turn off Route 1 onto Route 9, take a right on Parson's Beach Road (by the beautiful farm with the horses), drive to the end and park and walk over the dune to the ocean. I was there today by myself. Wonderful!

Hey Urban cottage, we usually go about four times a year..called today and they didn't have the primrose we were looking for, so we might skip it. I love it that you go there too! It never disappoints.

I just love ranunculas. We don't often get them in the flower wholesalers here. I tried to grow them once, but it wasn't too successful. Enjoy the rest of your weekend, love Linda x

Linda - we can't grow them here either. They seem to love California and Italy.

Peicha - didn't make it to Snug Harbor, but little 'finds' being posted soon.

Jane, yes.. Ranuncs still coming from Cali.. and Italy too. I'm hanging on 'til the end!
