Suddenly we're sitting down chatting about summer plans. Is IT over? Went to Market this morning and bought armloads of peonies which are almost gone now. Drivers have a few arrangements left to deliver, but other than that, I think we're done.
Our 'bright' offering.
Lilac, peonies and garden roses ruled the day.
ZuZu and Georgette are out eating Dusty Miller and Sweet Pea stems. This keeps them out of the bathroom.
Happy Mother's Day to all who qualify biologically or in spirit.

Go home! Oh I guess if it were my store I'd be open today too...
Flowers look fabulous

xo Jane
Love the bright arrangement. Well done, you survived the madness for another year!Love Linda x
Jane.. open today but we left at four... nice time with the dogs.
Thanks Linda! we did survive. Now onto wedding season and graduations and performances and proms!
Hope you had a wonderfully successful Mother's Day, Mama. We packed up at 2 and called it a day. Should've taken today off, so tired! I really love that bright arrangement. xoxo
Lovely arrangements, as usual. I just don't get the folks who wait until the last minute - and I do think today is carrying it pretty far! Am always amazed at the guys selling flowers on the street corner on Mother's Day (and Valentine's, etc.). Nothing says "I love you" better than a couple of ragged roses that you picked up on the street corner!
P...hope your day was great too! How's the girls working out?
Webb, yeah, last minute is loaded with baggage sometimes, but we're here to help out. Lots of pre ordered pick ups too.
The weekend was insane (great)! Still recovering, but now I have 5 wedding weekends in a row. The anxiety dreams started last week...my favorite (haha) was showing up to a wedding with 5 centerpieces and realizing that I needed 600!!
Girls are pretty good. Still getting used to each other. Trying not to be a meanie. ;)
