Willowdale redux

While the main house was well cared for at Willowdale, the outbuildings had a charm of their own.

These remind me of the old stables located at the corner of Market St and Western Ave in Brighton. I'll have to take photos of them.

Little changes here at the shop. Photos tomorrow!

Beautiful buildings. I LOVE that place in Brighton. I was just telling a friend last weekend as we drove by that I would live there if I could.

I was in your neighborhood last night. We ate at Bergamot. Very, very good but I can't go out to eat for a month. I blew the budget.

Right, Steve? Those buildings are going to ruin and they're so wonderful. If they were in Cambridge, the Historical Society would be all over them, or if they were in Back Bay I bet they'd be preserved. So I guess you'll be having Tabouli for your suppers this week!

I just drove by running errands, couldn't find a parking spot. I should have honked.

They're actually restoring it. It looks like the stables(?) are done. Even in the midst of all that industrial crap, I think it would be great fun to live there and have an oasis (with a major pool) behind those shingled walls. Mahoney's might even deliver for free!

Only tap water next week.

They are? I usually pull out of Mahoney's through the back, so haven't seen them lately. I'll check it out with my camera!
