Les feuilles mort

Oh, yes they are!  A branch here, a branch there.  Autumn will arrive officially in two days. The upside is the dahlias. Holy Moly, they're abundant and big and striking!

My only dahlia lament is that I cannot find Cafe au Lait anywhere at the market.  What does this mean? New York seems to have an abundance of them.  Sarah at Saipua, Denise at Little Pheasant blog has them. Even Jaime, in Napa has them!  Are lamenting and whining the same thing?

Rabbit news is excellent.  The new Staff seems to be perking along.  Guess I'm glad that allergies hit this week instead of last week.  Or maybe they hit this week because of last week. Wishing for more sleep, less coughing.

But you're working what you got. These are amazing!

I don't know what the problem is with mine this year. I just have my first bud opening. I think I have my own microclimate.

Good Zuzu news!

Holy cow, Shelley. I was over on Putnam near Whole Foods and there are several trees with bright fall color. It's too early for that!

Where are all my previous responses? I can't even comment on my own blog?

Not a dahlia in my garden - THAT will have to be fixed next year. Meanwhile, I will have to wallow in yours.

Ah yes the Cafe au Lait, expensive, precious and stay lovely for maybe 2 days if you're lucky. i have a serious love hate relationship with them. Looks gorgeous with what you have to work with!
