Mother's Day is coming 'round the bend and I'll take this blog space to make a floral announcement to all of you Local folks who follow us.
I need to say that the flowers right now are about as good as they get. Every day I come to the shop with armloads of peonies, sweet pea, the bluest and purplest hybrid delphinium, ranunculus from California that's running the Italian stuff out of town, and does the Lilac smell sweeter this year? Let's take a look:
We have a wonderful Beeswax candle from Pod. 100% pure! Fir Needle and Plain.
We've also started carrying Soy candles from local candle maker, Kirsty Allore. mmmm. Tuberose and Grapefruit.
New vases that look spectacUlar with the new paint job are on the shelves and we'll have some fragrant jasmine plants for Mom this week.
Gillian Canavan is making Mother's Day cards. Her Valentine's Day cards sold out two years in a row... can't wait to see these!
So, that's Mother's Day news. Tomorrow it's back to rabbits and maybe donkeys and always, always, more flowers.

The flowers are glorious now! I always buy an arrangement for my mother to have on Mother's Day. She is particularly fond of red flowers.
Gorgeous, Shelley!
So excited to come visit! Youll have to pull me out of the lilac.
Mmmmm, grapefruit candles!
I don't know how I missed this post. My Reading List is failing me but I haven't had that problem with your blog before.
Those flowers look amazing!
