Too damned hot

Rabbits don't do well in the heat.  They can be cozy and comfortable inside during the winter with no heat on:  they prefer it cold.

Today we've filled up buckets with ice for Alice and Petals who live in the front of the shop where it's warmest.

Everyone is hiding from the heat except for Max who's building a box house out of a case filled already with vases. He'll stop when he gets to the glass.

I put my camera close to the ground and shot hoping to find ZuZu..and there she was, a little blur hiding from the heat.

Rose treat for Alice.  She curls up to the bucket when she's not eating.

And here's a blurry flat boy staying cool.

Look at him all flattened out like a miniature cowhide rug.

The cats give me and Superman HELL cause no one lets them outside.

Don't push me babies.

It's too damn hot.

Hahaha Jane, a miniature cowhide, oh so true. I haven't opened a blind in a week trying to keep the heat out, I'm liking this under the bed idea if it weren't for the dust bunnies. OK, it's hot my mind is mush.

Poor babies. The ice was inspired. We have no ac in the country and my son made a makeshift one with a fan and a pan of ice in front of it.

I really feel for the animals in this heat--the ones who don't have caring owners.

Poor little things... my cats are the same; hiding in cool places, emerging only in the evenings.

Rabbits eat roses. I had no idea.
